Our experience spans mixed use developments, recreational complexes, government structures, educational facilities, and upscale mid-rise residential buildings Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our dynamic team. The Estimator will play a critical role in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate cost estimates for various construction projects, including commercial, mixed-use, recreational, and educational buildings. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in construction and estimating to contribute to the successful execution of projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and site visits. Analyze project requirements and perform quantity take-offs to ensure accurate pricing. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates. Assess risks and opportunities in the bidding process and provide recommendations. Maintain and update a database of cost information for future reference. Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance. Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for clients. Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction phase to ensure adherence to estimates. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on commercial and mixed-use projects. Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
