Associate to Mid-Level Network Engineer is responsible for
maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our network
infrastructure. This role involves working with various networking
technologies and security protocols to ensure optimal network
performance and reliability. The incumbent will collaborate with IT
and security teams to support business continuity and network
efficiency. Organizational Relationships Directly reports to the
VP, Technology Operations • IT Operations Interacts with internal
teams such as IT support, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams.
Works with external vendors and service providers to resolve
network issues and implement solutions. Job Responsibilities
Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting (50%) - Monitor network
performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes to
ensure uptime and reliability. This includes handling support
tickets, as well as conducting proactive and preemptive
maintenance. Network Administration (15%) - Assist in the design,
implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure including
routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. Security
Management (15%) - Configure and maintain network security
protocols, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection
systems. Documentation & Compliance (10%) - Maintain and update
documentation related to network configurations, processes, and
troubleshooting procedures. Connectivity Support (5%) - Support
LAN/WAN environments and ensure secure connectivity between
offices, data centers, and remote locations. Industry Research &
Upgrades (5%) - Stay updated with industry best practices and
emerging technologies in network engineering. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering
or IT infrastructure. Certifications (Preferred): CCNA, CCNP.
Technical Skills Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco,
Palo Alto, Aruba Wireless, or similar networking equipment.
Proficiency in configuring and managing SD-WAN environments. Palo
Alto Prisma/CloudGenix Preferred. Understanding of networking
protocols such as TCP/IP, ARP, VLANs, VPN, BGP and MPLS. Experience
with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, PRTG, Solarwinds).
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including firewalls, and
endpoint security. Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is
