One Order is a new travel industry standard focused on replacing legacy order management systems with modern retailing centric, cloud native scalable platforms that can support millions of transactions a second in a mission critical model.You will lead several development teams, where you will act as technical leader and mentor, developing both existing talent and building new teams across America, Europe, and India. You will enjoy close working relations with our partners at Amazon Web Services, who we are partnering with to build this platform.This role requires a leader who can support and drive adherence to proven technical delivery methodologies (SAFe), providing transparent reporting on progress and quality. In addition the journey to our end state will require extensive R&D efforts, where you will also provide technical leadership to ideate, select, prototype and deliver new capabilities underpinning the One Order platform.This role works closely with our product and go to market teams, to both define and deliver on the vision of the end state solution and focus on the definition and delivery of transition states, where Accelya's current client base will migrate to One Order over the course of several years. -Duties & Responsibilities: Track overall program progress, communicating key milestones, technical challenges and associated risk. Follow and enhance Accelya's development processes build technical efficacy at all levels. Establish and maintain strong, strategic partnerships across the enterprise. Own and advocate the technical vision for One Order, building excitement and momentum throughout Accelya's product and technology teams as well as our customers. Knowledge, Experience & Skills: Proven progressive background in technical leadership, introducing new competencies and technologies with a proven track record in building development velocity through strong teams with a focus on quality. Ability to present complex technical concepts and plans in a concise and accessible manner to a variety of audiences, such as senior leadership, investors, and customers. Previous experience in building highly scalable cloud-based platforms. Knowledge and experience covering major security compliance requirements such as PCI and GDPR.
